Jean Michel Daudier was born in "Les Cayes" Haiti. He learned how to play the guitar at the age of 16th. He became famous in 1986 after writing a protest song called "Lem pa we soley la" for the Catholic Radio station "Radio Soleil" during the revolution against the regime of Jean Claude Duvalier in Haiti.
His music has a mixture of Haitian Tropical and World Beat.
