It´s hard to describe in words the wonder of Bahia. There is music everywhere, people walk and talk with a certain mellow swing that is like no other, the history within the walls of the oldest buildings in the oldest city in Brazil and the traditions of the people run deep. Hey Kenny
God this looks a bit more fun than tutoring Staley! I hope ur soaking up every moment of the fabulousness. When I see people gleefully dancing it reminds me of this passage from Ethan Fromme (remember, New England, in winter?)..." The face she lifted to her dancers was the same which, when she saw him, always looked like a window that has caught the sunset. He even noticed 2 or 3 gestures which, in his fatuity, he had thought she kept for him: a way of throwing her head back when she was amused, as if to taste her laugh before she let it out." I love that quote cuz it describes one of those intensely-happy moments in time that frame our lives.
