- Kenyan Youth is my passion. I have been working with youth in Kenya for more than three years now. I grew up like them and there are 14 million young people in Kenya and only 25 percent of them have any hope of sustainable employment. The insecurities of youths are often a catalyst for many conflict situations — and military groups prey on those insecurities when recruiting followers.
