- The music of Haiku has welded the dance beat sounds of Bloc Party with the production and innovation of Pink Floyd and Alan Parsons, joining an intense musical background with dance pop sensibilities that will strike every chord in your body!
Through 11 songs haiku tell about the hidden continent of Mañana and Prince Mondo. The story is a comment on some of the conflicts, we see in our world, And about the choices we have to make in life.
The music is inspired by british rock bands as Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd and Bloc Party, with inspiration from american artists like Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave.
Freddy Albrektsen, the producer says: ”mondo” is a blend of different rock styles. It is a classic rock CD that could have been made 10 years ago and will last at least another 10 years. You should give this album several listenings, because it is both simple and very complexe and the songs grow when you listen to them again.
A Danish Newspaper gave mondo a 5 star review and described the album this way: “Definitely a fabulously sounding album, which you can only go into raptures about
