Dec. 23, 2009 (China Knowledge) - China will encourage securities and futures companies to venture abroad in a bid boost the development of the country's emerging low-carbon economy and biomedical and new energy sectors, said Shang Fulin, chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission.
Shang said that domestic companies will gain managerial experience and international influence by moving overseas, but did not elaborate.
He revealed that China plans to further expand its corporate bond market.
The CSRC will further strengthen supervision and control of the capital market based on the full function of the market, he added.
